Course Description
Hearing & Vision Screening
The Hearing, Vision, Spinal screening is designed to provide a simple non-diagnostic procedure that tells whether a child may or may not have a problem.
- Pre-Schools
- Daycares
- Public Schools
- Charter Schools
- Private Schools
Spinal Screening
The Spinal Screen is designed to detect a student who needs to be referred at the earliest point, before an abnormal curve gets worse.
- Public Schools
- Charter Schools
- Private Schools
- Any Schools with students 5th - 9th grade
Hearing & Vision Screening For:
- Kindergartners
- Children 4-years old by September 1st
- Children in 1st, 3rd, 5th and 7th grade
- Any first time entrants to daycare, pre-school or school
Spinal Screening For:
- Students in 6th & 9th grade
- Schools may implement a program that includes screening in the 5th & 8th grade
- The goal is to maintain a 3 year gap between students spinal screening
